What’s new?
Previously our Sandbox testing environment offered the ability to create Stuart jobs and have them run through a happy path scenario. We are happy to announce a new feature that will now enable you to test not just the happy path, but also the most common edge case scenarios including cancelled by Stuart, expired, driver reassigned, return, and driver waiting.
We encourage you to build a stronger integration by checking that each available testing scenario behaves as expected in your systems.
How does it work?
Upon accessing your Sandbox Dashboard account, you will now see a new icon in the top menu bar alongside the name of your currently selected testing scenario. Click on the icon to access a drop down menu of testing scenarios each with a description of what it offers.
These testing scenarios act as global account settings, meaning that the selected testing scenario will be applied to all jobs created in your account. Please note that changing your account testing scenario may impact pending orders already previously created in your account.
Happy Path
The happy path testing scenario will simulate a driver delivering your package with no special behaviours or issues encountered along the way. The driver will move in a pace to mimic the time taken to deliver a package in Production, taking into account the transport type and length of the job.Expired

Simulate your order being cancelled by Stuart with a cancellation reason key that you can select for your tests.Driver Reassigned
Simulate a change in the driver handling your package with a driver reassignment reason key that you can select for your tests.Return
Simulate your package being returned to the pickup location with a return reason key that you can select for your tests.Driver waiting status
Simulate the driver waiting at the pickup and /or dropoff location. In Production this is triggered after the driver has been waiting around 3 minutes at the given location.
What’s next?
This new feature provides the ability to test some popular edge case scenarios at a default time in the order flow. We may iterate upon this feature in the future to provide more testing scenarios and more control over how these should be played out on your orders.
