Sandbox - How to trigger and test Package Returned webhook in sandbox env

Hi there

I would like to know how I would approach testing the webhook package_returned. I cannot seem to trigger this myself or am I missing something?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for reaching out via the community forum.

You can test the returning webhook via our sandbox dashboard. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Subscribe to the webhook topic “package_returning” via your Sandbox account settings
  2. Configure the testing scenario as follows:
  • Select “Return Delivery” in the Scenario drop-down
  • Select a cancellation reason in the Reason drop-down. This value will be included in the payload of the package_returning webhook

  1. Create a delivery.

You’ll receive a package returning webhook on webhook endpoint configured in your account settings.

Ok so scheduled deliveries upon dropoff with Return Delivery scenario turned on before the job is scheduled is reporting package delivered and not firing the ‘package_returned’ topic in registered webhooks endpoint. You mentioned in previous correspondence that there maybe a bug in the sandbox env. - this has been going on for over a week and is creating a backlog for us. Please provide an update. Thank you
