Hi,

If I create a job with a dropoff_at time but no pickup_at time, what time does the driver get informed to pick up the package? Is there any smart calculation done based on traffic, distance etc?

Hi Josh,

Yes, if you specify a dropoff time the calculation is worked out “backwards” from the dropoff point to determine a suitable pickup time.

However, where at all possible we would strongly encourage scheduling by pickup time rather than dropoff time - it means there’s less variance in expectations around when the handover should be, especially for cases of hot/cold food.
