Stuart XL pricing & transport type

Hi Suzan,

Thank you for reaching out.

To get a delivery quote, you can use our job pricing endpoint. It’ll return a quote based on the maximum distance across all available transport types, ensuring the final quoted distance will not exceed the initial estimate.

If a smaller transport type is selected for the delivery, the final cost might be lower than the initial quote. It’s important to note that the quote provided by this endpoint remains constant, regardless of when you request it, as long as the job parameters are the same.

Moreover, this endpoint can be used for capping the distance of jobs as explained in this post.

While the type of package doesn’t significantly affect the job pricing endpoint’s quote, for the job creation, your system should be able to determine the correct package value, taking into account the items being delivered, aligning with our guidelines on package sizes and transport types.

I hope this clarifies how our pricing works and its ideal implementation. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Best regards.
